Frequently asked questions
Why does my payslip show a deduction I don't recognize?
Deductions are usually tied to attendance (absence/late) or an outstanding salary advance — ask your HR admin for details.
My payslip isn't showing for this month
Payslips appear once your employer has generated and approved the salary period — check with HR if it's overdue.
How much of my salary advance do I still owe?
The remaining balance is shown wherever your advance deduction appears on the breakdown, and it drops by that period's installment each time a salary period is approved — so it reaches zero on its own once the advance is fully repaid.
What currency is my payslip shown in?
Your company's own currency — set once when the company is created (AED, SAR, KWD and so on) and applied to every payslip and salary line. It isn't something that varies per employee.
Is overtime shown as its own line?
Yes — overtime pay is broken out separately from basic salary and allowances, calculated with your company's own country's overtime multiplier rather than one fixed rate.
