Frequently asked questions
Does WatheeqaHR store passport or Emirates ID scans?
No — WatheeqaHR tracks document types and expiry dates only, not scanned copies, in the base plan.
How far in advance am I alerted, and for how long do reminders continue?
Email alerts start 30 days before a document's expiry date and repeat daily as the deadline approaches. If a document is still unresolved after it expires, WatheeqaHR keeps reminding HR/admins daily for the first 30 days, then once every 30 days after that — so an overdue renewal never stops being visible, but it also stops flooding your inbox once it's clearly overdue.
Who receives the expiry alert emails?
HR users and admins on the account — the same people who can open the Documents section for any employee.
