People using an AI assistant
Ask Claude to check an attendance export for late arrivals, missing punches and possible absences without opening a spreadsheet.
WatheeqaHR runs a public, remote MCP server at https://www.watheeqahr.com/api/v1/mcp so AI assistants can use its free attendance file analyzer directly. It has three read-only tools: analyze_attendance_file, list_supported_attendance_formats and get_product_facts. No account or API key is needed. The same analysis is available as a JSON endpoint described by an OpenAPI 3.1 document at https://www.watheeqahr.com/api/v1/public/openapi.json.
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| MCP server URL | https://www.watheeqahr.com/api/v1/mcp. Streamable HTTP transport, protocol version 2025-06-18, stateless, JSON responses. GET returns 405 because there is no event stream. |
| Add it in Claude | In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and paste the MCP server URL. No sign-in is required. Other MCP clients that support remote Streamable HTTP servers take the same URL. |
| Tool: analyze_attendance_file | Send a device export as filename plus content_base64, or as csv_text. Optional: country, shift_start, shift_end, weekend_days, holidays, schedule_mode. It returns the employee count, per-employee days present, estimated absent days, late days and missing punches, and the detected column mapping. If the file cannot be read, the tool returns the analyzer's refusal reason as an error result. |
| Tool: list_supported_attendance_formats | Returns the export header shapes the analyzer is tested against, such as ZKTeco BioTime, Hikvision, Dahua SmartPSS, Anviz, Suprema BioStar 2, FingerTec, Matrix COSEC and eSSL. |
| Tool: get_product_facts | Returns the supported countries, what WatheeqaHR does and does not do, the plan prices in AED and the canonical links. |
| Limits | 5 MB per file. The free analyzer allows 3 distinct files per 30 days per network address, the same limit as the web tool; a refused request returns the reason. Requests are also rate limited per address. Absent days are estimates for review, not confirmed absences. |
| Privacy | Files are processed in memory and the original file is not stored, the same as the web analyzer. A result summary is saved with the file name and a hashed network address, behind an unguessable link that stops working after 7 days. Usage events are kept for service analytics and abuse prevention. Do not send files you are not allowed to share. See the privacy page for the full statement. |
| JSON API and OpenAPI | POST https://www.watheeqahr.com/api/v1/public/attendance/analyze-json takes the same fields as the analyze tool and returns the same summary. The OpenAPI 3.1 document is at https://www.watheeqahr.com/api/v1/public/openapi.json. |
