Public/company holidays inside the period:
The file is processed in memory and not stored. So you can share the report, we save the report results together with the file name and the network address (IP) of the request; the share link stops working after 7 days. We also keep usage events, including the network address, for service analytics and abuse prevention; if a file cannot be analysed, the event holds only an error code and counts such as rows and columns, never column names or file content. A retention limit for these records is being introduced, and deleted data can remain in database backups until those backups expire.

Frequently asked questions

What file formats are supported?

Excel files (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV/text exports (.csv, .txt, .tsv, .dat) — the same raw export your biometric device already produces, with no manual editing.

Is my file stored anywhere?

No. The file is processed in memory only and the raw file is not stored. So you can share or reopen the report, we save the analysis results together with the file name and the network address (IP) of the request; the report link stops working after 7 days. We keep usage events, including the network address, for service analytics and abuse prevention. If a file cannot be analysed, the usage event holds only the error code and counts (rows, columns, sheets), never column or sheet names or cell values. A retention limit for these records is being introduced, and deleted data can remain in database backups until those backups expire.

Is this really free?

How is lateness or absence calculated?

Lateness needs your shift start time; absence excludes the weekly off days and any public/company holidays you add — otherwise every employee who was off for a holiday would show as "absent". These are estimates for your review, not a final, audited attendance record.

Does this replace full payroll software?

No — this tool only analyzes the file you upload. Turning it into a full payroll run (real absence tied to your leave records, salary calculation, advances, the UAE WPS SIF export) needs a WatheeqaHR account.
