Turn the punch list into a lateness and missing-punch report in Excel.
A FingerTec TCMS attendance log is a plain punch list. The header shape our tests cover is User ID, Name, Date, Time, with the date and the time in separate columns and no in or out column. WatheeqaHR reads User ID as the employee ID and combines Date and Time into the punch. With no direction column, the first punch of each day is check-in and the last is check-out.
The automated tests resolve this header row: User ID, Name, Date, Time, with User ID as the employee ID. Export the TCMS attendance log as Excel or CSV.
User ID is the employee ID and Name the employee name. Date and Time are two columns that the analyzer combines into one timestamp per punch. There is no State or Type column in this shape, so no direction is read.
Without a direction column, the analyzer takes the first punch of each day as check-in and the last as check-out. Any extra punch in the middle of the day does not change that, but an extra punch before or after the real ones does.
A day with one punch has no check-out. It appears as a missing punch for HR to review, not as a confirmed absence, so check those days against the real attendance before using the totals for payroll.
Keep Date and Time as two columns, as exported. Upload one month at a time, under 5 MB, and check in the preview that both columns are present.

This header shape has no in or out column, so the first punch of each day counts as check-in and the last as check-out.
It is shown as a missing punch for review, not as a confirmed absence.
